Milfoil Prevention Project begins at the fishing access on Friday, May 28 at 6AM.
Received a $4,540 Aquatic Nuisance Grant for the Milfoil Prevention Program - giving us a total budget of $10,340 for our fishing access program.
March:
Received a 2010 Better Backroads Grant: Category B: Correction of an Erosion Problem Project for $9,000 to fix erosion problems on Church Hill Road in East Charleston (from where the blacktop ends to the bridge over the outlet stream from Echo Lake.)
Received a $800 commitment from the Town of Charleston for the Milfoil Prevention Program
Received a $5,000 Watershed Grant for the Milfoil Prevention Program.

Submitted Town of Charleston Road Inventory and Capital Budget Plan as part of the 2009 Better Backroads Grant the town received last year.
